Built around a graphite A-Symmetric body, the Black Max LP provides a comfortable and ergonomic platform while maintaining the strength required for everyday lure fishing. The updated body design is complemented by a 4+1 stainless steel bearing system, providing smooth and consistent operation throughout the cast and retrieve.
A Duragear brass gear system provides dependable cranking performance and durability, while the Power Disk Drag System delivers smooth and consistent drag pressure when fighting fish. Abu Garcia’s MagTrax Brake System provides reliable casting control, helping anglers manage spool speed across a variety of lure weights and fishing conditions.
The Black Max LP is equipped with a machined aluminium spool and 90mm bowed aluminium handle with large co-moulded soft-touch knobs. The extended handle provides additional cranking power and a comfortable grip, making the reel well suited to extended sessions on the water.
