Built around an asymmetrical body design, the Revo5 Premier features an X2-Cräftic alloy frame and side plate to deliver an excellent balance of strength, rigidity and weight. At just 187g, the reel maintains a lightweight feel in hand while providing the durability required for demanding lure fishing applications.
A 10+1 stainless HPCR bearing system provides exceptionally smooth operation, while the Duragear Gen II gear system uses aircraft-grade aluminium to deliver efficient power transfer and dependable performance. The Carbon Matrix Drag System provides smooth and consistent drag pressure with up to 10kg of maximum drag, complemented by a drag clicker for additional feedback during the fight.
Abu Garcia’s EXD Concept design works alongside the IVCB-6 braking system to provide extensive casting adjustment and precise spool control. A highly ported spool further reduces weight and assists casting performance across a variety of lure presentations.
