The Abu Garcia Revo5 SX VoltiQ Low Profile Baitcast Reel combines the rigid and versatile Revo SX platform with Abu Garcia’s innovative VoltiQ Electronic Casting System, delivering advanced casting control in a compact, high-performance baitcast reel.
At the heart of the VoltiQ system is an Electronic Cast Control braking system that monitors spool rotation and makes fine braking adjustments throughout the cast. This technology is designed to maximise casting performance while reducing the potential for backlash, providing anglers with greater control across a wide range of lure weights and fishing conditions.
The A-Symmetric body design creates a compact and ergonomic profile, while the X2-Cräftic alloy frame and C6 carbon side plates provide increased strength and durability without unnecessary weight. A 9+1 stainless steel bearing system delivers smooth operation, complemented by Duragear Gen II gearing for efficient power transfer and improved gear durability.
A 90mm bowed aluminium handle with oversized knobs provides excellent grip and cranking control, while the Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System delivers smooth, consistent drag pressure throughout the drag range. With up to 11.3kg of maximum drag, the Revo5 SX VoltiQ provides the power and control required for demanding lure fishing applications.
