The Barambah Bidjiwong is a purpose-built surface lure designed for targeting Murray cod in rivers and impoundments. With its distinctive lizard-inspired profile, versatile interchangeable bib system and attention-grabbing surface action, the Bidjiwong is built to create the disturbance needed to draw big fish to the surface.
Each Bidjiwong comes with two different bib options, allowing anglers to change the lure’s action to suit the conditions. It can be configured as a natural wake bait that pushes across the surface or transformed into a more aggressive surface paddler that generates additional noise and disturbance.
An oversized steel ball rattle positioned in the second body segment adds another level of attraction, producing a strong acoustic presence as the lure moves across the water. Combined with its large 200mm profile and surface disturbance, the Bidjiwong provides Murray cod with a substantial target that's difficult to ignore.
The lure is fitted with three strategically positioned treble hooks, providing excellent hook coverage while being designed to minimise fouling during the cast and retrieve.
At 200mm long and weighing 57g, the Barambah Bidjiwong delivers a large surface presentation with plenty of presence. Whether slowly worked along riverbanks and timber or covering open water in an impoundment, it provides anglers with two proven surface presentations in one versatile lure.
