On a straight retrieve, it produces the classic lipless vibration that attracts predators. What makes this lure truly unique is its ability to swim and flutter enticingly on the fall when the retrieve is paused, triggering savage reaction strikes from fish watching it descend. Once you resume the retrieve, the powerful vibration reinforces the strike response. The Swimtrex can be worked quickly over shallow water, but really excels when fished over deeper ledges and allowed to flutter like a spoon as it sinks.
