The FinesseFreak LC 7'5" is a versatile two-piece rod purpose-built for finesse bass fishing. Featuring a medium-fast action and a recommended line class of 2–5kg, it comfortably handles lure weights from 2 to 10 grams, making it ideal for working a wide range of light lures and finesse presentations.

Building on the proven success of its custom predecessors that have delivered tournament-winning results, the FinesseFreak has been refined by Ian Miller to suit the evolving style of Australian bass fishing influenced by modern US techniques. The longer length allows for long, accurate casts and excellent lure control, making it especially effective for lake fishing.

The upgraded design includes a slightly longer handle to improve casting distance and provide greater comfort during extended sessions. It excels in techniques such as drop shotting, suspended soft plastics and spoon fishing, while also being well suited to targeting trout and flathead in open water.

Fitted with the latest Fuji Fazlite KR guide train, the rod delivers smooth line flow and reliable performance. A detachable handle makes transport and storage easy, while the Control Freak skeleton handle provides outstanding comfort and sensitivity. This features a Fuji SKSS reel seat over a blue carbon barrel with custom-shaped x-firm EVA grips in the signature blue Camoufish pattern.

For best performance, Millerods recommends using an FG knot when connecting braided mainline to monofilament leaders, ensuring the FinesseFreak LC delivers the control, sensitivity and reliability required for modern finesse fishing.
