Shimano 24 Vanford Spinning Reel

The 2024 Shimano Vanford FA Spin Fishing Reel is a masterpiece of modern engineering, designed to elevate finesse fishing to new heights. Available in six models, including the ultra-light 500 size, this reel blends cutting-edge technology with Shimano’s legendary durability. Built from revolutionary Ci4+ material, it delivers remarkable strength while remaining incredibly lightweight, perfect for long sessions on the water.

This reel is packed with advanced features that set it apart. The Duracross drag washer ensures smooth performance and lasting reliability, while the Anti Twist Fin helps prevent wind knots for cleaner casts. Infinityxross technology enlarges the gear surface for maximum durability, and Infinitydrive provides effortless rotation even under heavy torque. The MGL rotor is 48% lighter, offering faster startup and improved responsiveness, while Micromodule Gear II and Silent Drive combine to deliver whisper-quiet, silky-smooth operation.

The Vanford FA also features Hagane Gear for long-term durability and X-Protect water resistance rated to IPX8, ensuring excellent protection in harsh environments. Its Long Stroke Spool and AR-C Spool design allow for longer, more accurate casts, while the G Free Body shifts the center of gravity closer to the rod to reduce fatigue during long sessions. Additional highlights include SA-RB bearings to guard against salt and sand intrusion and a One-Piece Bail to minimize friction and tangles. For anglers seeking precision, performance, and reliability, the Vanford FA stands in a class of its own.
