The Smarttek 4m Bayonet Gas Hose uses a 3/8" SAE (18 TPI) thread, commonly used with portable outdoor gas appliances and caravans.
Home Gas Heaters: Many domestic gas heaters in Australia use a 3/8" BSP (19 TPI) thread. Although SAE and BSP fittings can look very similar, they are different thread types and will not connect correctly without the appropriate adapter.
Adapter Required: When connecting to an appliance fitted with a 3/8" BSP thread, a 3/8" SAE to 3/8" BSP adapter is required.
