PhD Slammer 150

The Slammer 150 is a 150mm jointed paddling timber lure designed to target Murray cod throughout Australia’s vast river systems. While smaller than some models in the range, it still has the ability to draw strikes from big cod in dams thanks to its unique and effective action.

A steeply raked paddle bib creates strong water displacement, while the joint is spaced further apart than many comparable jointed cod lures. This allows the Slammer 150 to be retrieved faster without blowing out, while also offering a quieter, more subtle presentation when conditions demand it.

The tail section sits low in the water, helping improve hook-up rates on stubborn fish that are often difficult to pin.

Built with a heavy-duty through-wire construction and fitted with BKK hooks, the Slammer 150 is designed to handle trophy-class cod and bring them safely to the net.
