The Zerek Ice Gigolo is a compact ice jig designed for targeting suspended freshwater species, particularly when fish are shut down, pressured or difficult to tempt. At 40mm long and weighing 10g, it provides an easy-to-control presentation that's ideal for fishing lakes, dams and reservoirs.
A specifically positioned tow point allows the Ice Gigolo to dart from side to side with minimal rod movement, creating an erratic action that can trigger reaction strikes from hesitant fish. It can be worked with subtle hops or small taps of the rod to keep the lure moving directly in front of suspended fish.
The Ice Gigolo is particularly effective for targeting Australian bass, redfin and trout. Its compact profile and responsive action make it well suited to fishing vertically when fish are holding at a specific depth.
For increased versatility, anglers can remove the belly treble and attach additional weight to the hanger. This allows the lure to reach greater depths while maintaining its effective darting action.
