Featuring Abu Garcia’s all-new Mechanical Magnetic Cast Control System (MIQ), the Max SX MIQ range removes one of the biggest barriers to learning a baitcaster. By intelligently managing every cast, MIQ helps reduce backlashes before they happen, giving anglers the confidence to focus less on their reel and more on developing technique, improving accuracy and landing their lure exactly where it needs to be.
Whether you prefer the flexibility of a standalone reel or the convenience of a ready-to-fish combo, the Max SX MIQ range delivers the same intelligent cast control technology across the range—helping anglers build confidence, refine their skills and banish backlash.
