The Millerods Beast Buster has a long and proud history as a custom-built rod range for both snapper and barramundi, and it now makes its first appearance in the production lineup. This special Beast Buster model has been designed to cover a wide range of applications, combining the qualities of a medium-weight snapper rod with the power of a light-medium barra rod in one versatile design.

Previously built as separate custom models, this version brings both styles together into a single rod that performs exceptionally well across multiple fisheries.

As a snapper rod, the Beast Lt-Med LongCast excels in medium depths with popular jighead sizes from ¼ to ¾oz rigged with soft plastics up to 7 inches. The 7’6” length delivers excellent casting distance and makes line and lure control smooth and effortless throughout the drift, creating a highly versatile setup for offshore and inshore work.

As a barra rod, it comfortably handles a wide range of soft barra lures, from soft vibes through to Slick Rigs and small to medium jighead-rigged swimbaits. The longer length again proves invaluable, allowing easy casting and precise lure control at distance, making it ideal for working weed edges and structure at any depth.

Across both applications, the Beast Buster stands out for its outstanding balance and sensitivity. The tip naturally floats upward during retrieves, reducing fatigue and making lure control effortless, while the lightweight construction and superb balance combine to deliver exceptional feel and bite detection.
