Millerods Grubfreak LT

The GrubFreak LT 7'3" is an exceptionally lightweight rod, weighing just 96 grams, designed for high performance in light and ultra-light fishing applications. This two-piece rod features a medium-fast action that is perfectly tuned for spinning with soft plastics, making it ideal for a wide range of casting and retrieving techniques, from unweighted rigs through to hidden-weight setups and jigheads up to 1/4oz.

With its longer length and balanced action, the GrubFreak offers excellent line control whether you’re working deep water or fishing across shallow flats. It also performs exceptionally well as a blade rod, providing a softer, more forgiving action that helps prevent pulling small treble hooks.

The rod is fitted with a premium non-corroding titanium guide train, using a 9+1 Fuji Titanium T-SiC slim ring setup with semi-micro KR guides and a smallest guide size of 4.5. This ensures smooth line flow, improved casting performance and long-term protection for fine braid, mono and fluorocarbon lines.

Finished with Ian’s Control Freak style handle design, the rod features a Fuji SKSS reel seat over a blue carbon barrel, custom shaped x-firm EVA grips in the signature blue Camoufish pattern and an anti-skid butt cap for comfort and control during long sessions on the water.
