The Wilson Slick Back is a deep-diving hardbody lure designed specifically for targeting Australian native freshwater species. With its clean, streamlined profile, strong swimming action and internal rattles, the Slick Back is built to get down into the strike zone and attract aggressive predators.
Designed for both casting and trolling, the Slick Back dives quickly and maintains a strong, consistent action throughout the retrieve. This makes it an excellent option for working around submerged timber, rock walls, drop-offs and other deeper structure where native fish commonly hold.
Powerful internal rattles create additional sound and vibration underwater, helping draw fish in from a distance. Combined with its pronounced swimming action, the Slick Back provides plenty of presence when searching for active fish or working deeper areas thoroughly.
As a floating hardbody, the Slick Back can also be paused and allowed to rise away from structure, helping anglers work snaggy country more effectively. Available in three sizes with diving depths ranging from approximately 2 to 5 metres, there’s a Slick Back suited to everything from shallower bass and golden perch fishing through to chasing Murray cod in deeper water.
